Separates materials into higher and lower density fractions, can separate specific materials by air volume control in MSW, C&D waste and stale waste treatment, and is a necessary machine for RDF production from MSW.
Composed of a centrifugal fan, a separating unit with a rotating drum, a belt conveyor and a settling chamber. Based on aerodynamic principles, it uses air as the sorting medium to sort MSW by density and particle size under airflow. Lighter materials (paper sheets, plastic bags, films) are carried far, while heavy materials drop down, realizing density-based separation.
